Background
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) is seeking to award a firm fixed-price construction contract for the Emergency Replace Wastewater Treatment Plant Valves (WWTP) at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Phoenix. FCI Phoenix is a Federal Correctional Facility located at 37900 N. 45th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85086. The contractor will be responsible for the complete removal of existing equipment, disposal of items, and installation of new equipment in compliance with national/local codes and Bureau of Prisons policies. The tasks include digging the valves, shoring the hole around the valves, replacing the valves, testing the valves, and providing divers.
The performance period for the project will be 180 calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed.

Work Details
The work includes providing all labor and materials for emergency replacement of wastewater treatment plant valves at FCI Phoenix. This encompasses complete removal of existing equipment, proper disposal, and installation of new equipment in compliance with national/local codes and Bureau of Prisons policies. Specific tasks involve digging the valves, shoring the hole around the valves, replacing the valves, testing the valves, and providing divers. Additionally, training on usage/maintenance of all equipment will be provided by the contractor.
