Background
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is issuing this solicitation for subsistence supplies for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Milan, Michigan. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary food items for the institution's operations during the first quarter of fiscal year 2026. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding food safety and labeling.

Work Details
The contractor will supply various subsistence items including but not limited to:
- Cheddar Cheese (40 Pound Case) - U.S. Grade AA or A, conforming to CID-A-A-20208C, with specific moisture and fat content requirements.
- Margarine (Bulk, 30 Pound Case) - Must comply with USDA Specifications for Vegetable Oil Margarine, containing not less than 80% fat.
- Tofu (Regular or Organic) - Firm, Medium Firm, Extra Firm, or Super Firm; must contain specified ingredients without animal by-products.
- Canned Beans (Black, Garbanzo, Lentil, Navy, Pinto) - Must meet CID specifications and be packaged in #10 cans.
- Beets (Sliced) - Canned vegetables meeting U.S. Grade standards and originating from crops grown in the U.S. or Canada.
Delivery must occur within 30 days after award of the contract.
