FCI ATL FY25 Landfill Trash Disposal Services.

Background
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Atlanta is seeking to award a contract for Landfill Trash Disposal Services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper disposal of solid waste generated by the institution, supporting its mission to maintain a safe and secure environment.

The services will be provided at the FCI Atlanta facility located at 601 McDonough Blvd., Atlanta, Georgia 30315.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Receive solid waste from FCI Atlanta, which includes both compacted and non-compacted waste.
2. Transport the waste to the contractor's approved disposal facility, which must be a 'Type I Disposal Facility' compliant with all local, state, federal, and EPA regulations.
3. Ensure that all trash, garbage, and debris become the sole ownership of the contractor upon unloading at the transfer site.
4. Disperse materials in a lawful manner according to applicable codes and regulations.
5. Provide weight tickets at the time of unloading at the transfer site.
6. Maintain current licenses and permits required for waste disposal and recycling operations.
7. Receive solid waste Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding federal and state holidays.
8. Provide a summary of services rendered by the end of the contract period detailing total solid waste weighed in.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on October 1, 2024, and will continue through September 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at FCI Atlanta located at 601 McDonough Blvd., Atlanta, Georgia 30315, with transportation to an approved landfill within a 60-mile round trip radius.
