FCC YAZOO CITY - Removal of Underground Fuel Storage Tanks

Background
The Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) in Yazoo City, MS, is issuing this contract for the removal of underground fuel storage tanks as part of a project aimed at replacing these tanks with new above-ground storage systems.

The goal is to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations while enhancing the facility's fuel storage capabilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the removal of the following underground fuel storage tanks and associated equipment:
- (1) 6,000 gallon gasoline storage tank
- (1) 2,500 gallon diesel fuel storage tank
- (1) 12,000 gallon supply tank for emergency generators
- (1) diesel dispensing pump
- (1) gasoline dispensing pump
- All underground piping associated with the tanks and dispensing systems
- Existing fuel dispensing island.

Additionally, the contractor must collect soil samples for contamination analysis and adhere to PADEP guidelines. The contractor will also lease two 3,000 gallon diesel dispensing tanks and one 3,000 gallon gasoline dispensing tank during the transition period until new tanks are operational.

Installation of new above-ground tanks includes:
- Garage: (1) Above ground 6,000 gallon diesel tank, (1) above ground 4,000 gallon gasoline tank, and all necessary electrical work.
- Powerhouse: (1) Above ground 12,000 gallon diesel tank with connections to emergency generator.

Period of Performance
Total length of this contract will be for 120 calendar days.
