Fanuc Arm Joint Repair

Background
The Air Force Sustainment Center’s Maintenance Contracting Branch (AFSC/PZIMC) at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for Fanuc Arm Joint Repair. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
The solicitation is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) IAW Part 13.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, test equipment, material, parts, quality control, transportation, and inspection manuals necessary to perform the Repair service on the Fanuc Arm Joint located in Building 3001 Post P-106 at the Oklahoma City–Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC). The equipment is listed in Appendix A. Known problems include leaking grease from the seal of J3 on an M710iC-50 arm (F111536), which needs repair and remastering to allow resumption of production with minimal point movement. Only the Contracting Officer can authorize repair actions.
The Contractor shall provide and use only new parts and material unless otherwise authorized by the CO.
