Fan Coil Units Replacement in Main Building- USDA, ARS, DAWSON, GA   2

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) National Peanut Research Laboratory 1011 FORRESTER DR, S.E. DAWSON, GA, 39842 has a requirement for Fan Coil Units Replacement in Main Building. The work includes but is not limited to: The Contractor shall furnish a technical and cost proposal to supply all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision necessary for the removal and replacement of the 21 old 2 pipe fan coil units with new 4 pipe fan coil units.

This project involves the removal and replacement of the 21 old 2 pipe fan coil units with new 4 pipe fan coil units. 21 ea. Fan coil units in BLDG. 1, zones 1 & 2 with Trane UniTrane units, equivalent or better. Vertical cabinet with flat top: 5 ea. 7,800 w/ 400 cfm fan; 15 ea. 5,800 w/ 300 cfm fan; 1 ea. 11,800 w/ 600 cfm fan. The contractor will run the new 4 pipe to the fan coils to make the plumbing and electrical connections. Install new thermostats and program them, then pull them into Metasys. Startup all fan coils and check operation.

USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced contract. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions.

This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement on about August 02, 2024. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
