Questions are due December 21, 2024 by 1:00pm ET - send to Rhonda.l.canell@uscis.dhs.gov, Stuart.Sellears@uscis.dhs.gov and Johana.GaviriaVilla@uscis.dhs.gov Quotes are due January 5, 2024 by 2:00pm ET FALCON will consist of teams to provide development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) services to support the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Information Technology (IT) software development delivery services primarily for VIS (Verification Information System). The teams will be performing Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) activities and standardizing complex, large-scale, Internet-facing web applications, and IT systems in an AWS cloud environment using forward-thinking, modern, open-source technologies and managed cloud services with heavy customer engagement. The term expert or expertise is used throughout this document. An expert is defined as a person who has comprehensive and authoritative knowledge of or skill in a particular skill set. An example of expertise is when an individual has published technical whitepapers on a subject or given technical presentations at IT conferences on the subject.
This contract opportunity, known as FALCON, is seeking teams to provide development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) services to support the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Information Technology (IT) software development delivery services primarily for the Verification Information System (VIS). The teams will be responsible for standardizing complex, large-scale, Internet-facing web applications and IT systems in an AWS cloud environment using modern, open-source technologies and managed cloud services. The contract emphasizes heavy customer engagement and requires expertise in DevSecOps activities. USCIS is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the U.S. immigration system and providing accurate information regarding immigration cases. The period of performance for this contract is from April 15, 2025 to April 14, 2026, with options for extension up to April 14, 2029. The specific geographic locations where the contract will be performed are detailed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), Section 8.1.
