Description

Background
The U.S. Embassy Zagreb is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the replacement of light fixtures in the Chancery Building located at Thomasa Jeffersona 2, Zagreb, Croatia. The goal of this contract is to enhance the lighting infrastructure within the embassy, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. This project is part of the embassy's ongoing efforts to maintain and improve its facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for removing existing light fixtures and installing new LED fixtures. The work includes testing the new equipment and training embassy staff on its operation and maintenance. The contract is a firm fixed price agreement, payable entirely in USD, and includes the following items:

1. Removal of existing light fixtures and installation of new ones - Quantity: 1
2. VAT - Quantity: 1
3. DBA Insurance - Quantity: 1

All work must conform to applicable standards including IBC, ASHRAE, NFPA/NEC, U.S. EPA, and DOS policies.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed after contract award.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of registration in the US System for Award Management database prior to submission of their proposal. Additionally, contractors must have a Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) TOP SECRET facility clearance due to security requirements associated with working in controlled access areas.

Solicitation FACZG Light Fixtures Replacement

The American Embassy Zagreb hereby provides the following Solicitation Notice in respect of the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for: FACZG Light Fixtures Replacement.

The solicitation may result in the award of firm fixed price contract.

The proposal due date has been extended to September 11, 2026.

Companies interested in the solicitation may send a proposal to ZagrebBids@state.gov and MazorT@state.gov, not later than September 11, 2026 using the solicitation name , U.S. Embassy FACZG Light Fixtures Replacement - 19HR9026Q0017 in the subject line.
