Facility 1302 Exterior Cleaning

Background
The 633d Contracting Squadron is seeking to perform complete exterior pressure or soft wash of the facility located at 586 Weyland Rd, Langley AFB, VA 23665. The objective of this project is to remove all organic growth such as algae and mold from the building's visual surfaces, including brick, façade, and windows. This effort aims to enhance the building's appearance and maintain its structural integrity.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and management necessary for the complete exterior pressure or soft wash of the facility. Key tasks include:
1. Pressure or soft wash the entire exterior of the building from ground level up to the gutters.
2. Completely eradicate all signs of algae, mold, and discoloration from the facility's surface.
3. Pay specific attention to heavily affected areas such as gutters and windows where algae buildup is most prominent.
4. Use a commercial-grade pressure washing system suitable for the building's surface materials.
5. Coordinate with the Project Manager for scheduling and safety measures as certain sections will need to be closed during work.
6. Provide necessary equipment including a lift for accessing upper levels (facility height is 60 ft), backflow preventer, and water meter for fire hydrants.
7. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and base requirements throughout the project.
