INDUSTRY DAY ANNOUNCEMENT

FA9101-21-SSS-0001, Facilities Acquisitions for Restoration and Modernization (FARM) II

Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) is hosting a remote Industry Day on 18 and 19 February 2021 from 0800 to 1520 (CST). Due to potentially high interest, there will be two sessions for the FARM II Industry Day; the agenda will be the same for both days (see attached agenda). The purpose of this Industry Day is to enhance potential offerors' understanding of AEDC's mission and the FARM II effort. An overview briefing introducing AEDC and the FARM II effort will be posted to AEDC Competition Library on or about 12 February 2021. Participants in this Industry Day will have the opportunity to speak with Government subject matter experts (SMEs) via teleconference in one-on-one sessions. Each session will include our Procuring Contracting Officer and technical SMEs in the following areas:

• Electrical
• Mechanical
• Instrumentation, Data, and Control (ID&C) Systems
• Plant and Utility Systems

We plan to allow each company 30 minutes to meet with the Government. The actual time available to meet will be dependent on the number of requested meetings. We are not looking to receive any briefings of capabilities during this time but rather would like to hear from you on any issues/concerns/questions you may have. A detailed draft agenda is attached.

The industry day will be held via teleconference and the dial in number will be provided to interested participants.

REGISTRATION: If you are interested in participating in the remote FARM II Industry Day, please send an email to aedc.sso@us.af.mil by 16 February 2021. Provide the following information: name of your company, name(s) of attendee(s), and your availability. Also, include any topics of interest you wish to discuss during the one-on-one telephonic meetings with the Government. We want to ensure we provide maximum benefit to the attendees during this teleconference.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This announcement for the Industry Day does not constitute an invitation for bid or request for proposal. Any procurement action for the FARM II effort will be the subject of a separate, future announcement on Beta.SAM. The Government is not under any obligation to award any related contract associated with this event.

The Government will not reimburse any contractors for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. Participation in the FARM II Industry Day is voluntary.
