Description

The Huntington District, US Army Corps of Engineers anticipates awarding a target of two (2) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contracts for Fabrication and Rehabilitation of Lock and Dam Structural Operating Equipment for the Huntington District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and other Districts within the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division. Geographical boundaries for the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division include Buffalo, Chicago, Detroit, Huntington, Louisville, Nashville and Pittsburgh Districts.

The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and supervision necessary to fabricate and/or rehabilitate Huntington District structural operating equipment. The work required consists of providing rehabilitation work that may include; but is not limited to welding structural cracks and defects, replacing bushings, machining shafts and bushings, installing sleeves on shafts, sandblasting to white metal, painting, replacing bolts on rubber seals. The fabrication work may include, but is not limited to welding members together, fabricating items in accordance with drawings and specifications, cutting and drilling rubber seals, bolting members together, sandblasting and painting.
