FAA Enterprise Network Services (FENS)

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded the FAA Enterprise Network Services (FENS)contract to Verizon Business Network Services LLC. The length of the contract is fifteen years, if all options are exercised. The contract value is is $2.4B (Base Period and Option Periods). The FENS contractor will provide the FAA with telecommunications, information management services, and other capabilities to support its continuing mission of providing the safest, most efficient aerospace system in the world. In addition, the FENS contractor will provide network connectivity to administrative information systems and functions including e-mail, payroll, and on-line training.
