FA8532-23-R-0003 - Aircrew Flight Equipment Test Equipment (AFETE)   4

Background
The solicitation is for the production and repair of Aircrew Flight Equipment Test Equipment (AFETE) for the United States Air Force. The purpose is to provide support, expertise, capabilities, engineering, and technical services to support the production and repair of AFETE. The benefit to the USAF is that serviceable AFETE will be returned to the Air Force supply system and the warfighter through production and repair, while enabling maintenance and inspection of Aircrew Flight Equipment (AFE).

Work Details
The AFETE system includes assets such as Joint Combined Aircrew Systems Tester (JCAST), Altitude Combined Aircrew Systems Tester-High Altitude (ACAST-HA), and Upgraded System Communication and Oxygen Tester (SCOT).
The Joint Combined Aircrew Systems Tester (JCAST) interfaces with main A-10, F-15, F-16, and F-22 Aircrew Flight Equipment components. It provides air at pressure levels consistent with aircraft supply levels to test the Man Mounted Regulators (MMR) and is capable of performing pre-flight checks of pilot-mounted equipment, fit testing of pilot oxygen masks, leak testing on the G-suit and related hoses and fittings, listen and talk checks with headsets and microphones in mask and helmet.

Period of Performance
The basic contract period of performance is for 12 months with four one-year options.
