The North Texas Veterans Healthcare System has a requirement for mold remediation services at their Garland, Texas facility. This is a time sensitive requirement. Services shall be in accordance with the Statement of Work, and mold remediation protocol. Amendment 0001 has been posted on 05-29-2024 to extend the RFQ due date and notify contractors of a scheduled site visit on May 31, 2024. Amendment 0002 has been posted on 06-05-2024 providing answers to questions and requested documents. The RFQ due date is extended.

Background
The North Texas Veterans Healthcare System has a requirement for mold remediation services at their Garland, Texas facility. This is a time sensitive requirement. Services shall be in accordance with the Statement of Work, and mold remediation protocol.

Work Details
The Garland VAMC requires the GC to provide labor, material and equipment to remediate mold in the basement of the Garland VA’s MOB. The work includes specific requirements for floors, walls, ceilings, pipe insulation, duct insulation, HVAC duct cleaning, and other specifics such as providing PPE for employees, relocating art pieces and TVs, ensuring proper handling and disposal of products/equipment used for the project, replacing damaged sprinkler heads or piping, adhering to safety and infection control measures, submitting pictures of affected areas before, during, and after renovation, providing a dumpster for debris disposal, following VA Master Construction Specifications for regulatory compliance requirements. The work is to be performed on Monday to Friday at 8:00AM - 4:30PM.
