Legionella Water Testing for Orlando VA Healthcare System   2

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this contract to provide Legionella water testing services for the Orlando VA Healthcare System. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and quality of water systems within the facilities by conducting regular and unscheduled testing, thereby supporting the health and well-being of veterans receiving care at these locations.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide scheduled quarterly on-site testing services for Legionella bacteria in water systems. Additionally, the contractor must be prepared to conduct unscheduled retesting services within seven (7) days of notification from the Government. This is a non-personnel services contract, meaning that the Government will not exercise supervision or control over the contract service providers. The contractor is responsible for managing all aspects of the services provided and must possess the necessary technology and expertise to efficiently handle these tasks. Furthermore, the contractor should have the capability to accommodate increases in testing quantities due to unforeseen or unscheduled conditions.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at multiple locations including Orlando VAMC - Lake Nona, Lake Baldwin VA Clinic, Lakemont Campus, and Viera VA Clinic.
