RFP No. 140L0125R0001 Off-Range Pastures (ORP)   2

Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 140L0125R0001 to support its Wild Horse and Burro Program (WHBP). The goal of this contract is to provide Off-Range Pastures (ORP) services across 14 states, ensuring the proper care and management of wild horses and burros.

This contract will be structured as a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), allowing for flexibility in task orders as needed.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing long-term animal feed and care services for wild horses and burros. Specific tasks include:
- Providing animal feed and care on a per head/per day basis.
- Managing a minimum of 200 animals per order period, with the capacity to handle up to 366 animals depending on the order period.
- Ensuring that all animals receive appropriate nutrition and care throughout their stay in the off-range pastures.
- Adhering to the specified unit price per head/per day as outlined in the pricing tables for each order period, which spans from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2035.

Period of Performance
The contract will be executed over multiple order periods, starting from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2035. Each order period lasts one year with specific tasks scheduled within these time frames.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed in various locations across 14 states as designated by the Bureau of Land Management.
