Remove Hazardous Limbs and Trees   2

Background
The National Park Service, Interior Region 2 contracting office is requesting a quote for a requirement on the Natchez Trace Parkway to remove hazardous limbs and trees. Over the past several years, there have been several major storms along the Parkway, resulting in hazardous trees and limbs overhanging the area that need to be removed to mitigate any threat to Parkway visitors and vehicles.

Work Details
The tasks include:
Task 1 - Removal of hazardous and overhanging limbs in order to create a clear zone;
Task 2 - Removal of hazardous trees that are in danger of falling into the motor road;
Task 3 - Removal of downed trees within the mowing area. The contractor is required to furnish all transportation, materials, labor, equipment, and all other services necessary for these tasks. A scheduled site visit has been arranged for April 26, 2023, at the National Park Service Headquarters in Tupelo, MS.

Place of Performance: Natchez Trace Parkway at various locations including Dancy District (Mississippi, Parkway Mile Marker: 193 - 239.5) and Tupelo District (Mississippi, Parkway Mile Marker: 239.5 – 297.3)
