R7 Tri-State Lead (Pb) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC)   3

Background
The R7 Tri-State Lead (Pb) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) is issued by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 7. The purpose of this contract is to provide necessary personnel, materials, equipment, services, and facilities to perform tasks related to lead contamination in the Tri-State Mining District.

This contract aims to support the EPA's mission of protecting human health and the environment by addressing lead contamination issues effectively.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish necessary personnel, material, equipment, services, and facilities to perform the requirements outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Work will be ordered against this contract through the issuance of task orders. Specific tasks include:
1. Compliance with higher-level quality standards for all work performed.
2. Adherence to a Quality Assurance Plan incorporated by reference.
3. Execution of work as specified in task orders which may include environmental assessments, remediation activities, and reporting requirements.
4. Notification to the Ordering Officer when costs approach 85% of the ceiling price specified in each task order.
5. The contractor must not commence work prior to receiving a task order unless authorized by the Ordering Officer.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from contract award through a maximum of 120 months if option periods are exercised.

Place of Performance
The geographic location for performance is primarily within the Tri-State Mining District.
