R7 Oronogo-Duenweg Mining Belt – Operable Unit 1 Remedial Action, Tri-State Min   4

Background
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 7 (EPA Region 7) plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for non-residential, Site-Specific contract for Remedial Actions to be performed within the Oronogo Duenweg Mining Belt (ODMB) Superfund site, Jasper County, Missouri. The primary activities associated with the remedial action involve excavation, consolidation, and disposal of mine waste and associated contaminated soil/sediments, property restoration, and revegetation.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services, and facilities to perform the Performance Work Statement (PWS) included in Attachment 2. Work will be ordered against the subject Performance Work Statement (PWS) through issuance of task orders.
The period of performance of this contract shall be from date of award through five years thereafter inclusive of all required reports if all options (four 12-month) are exercised. The geographic location(s) where the contract will be performed is Oronogo-Duenweg Mining Belt in Jasper County, Missouri.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the base period is from 09/29/2023 to 09/28/2024. Additionally, there are four option periods: Option Period 1 from 09/29/2024 to 09/28/2025, Option Period 2 from 09/29/2025 to 09/28/2026, Option Period 3 from 09/29/2026 to 09/28/2027, and Option Period 4 from 09/29/2027 to 09/28/2028.

Place of Performance
The place of performance is the Oronogo-Duenweg Mining Belt in Jasper County, Missouri.
