Background
The solicitation is for the R7 Cherokee County, Kansas, OU3 Baxter Springs and OU8 EPA-Lead Rail Lines contract. The work is related to the Superfund Site OU3 Phase IV Baxter Springs Subsite/OU8 Phase I EPA-Lead Railroads. The contract includes a Performance Work Statement, Price Schedule, and various clauses and special requirements.

Work Details
The contractor is required to perform various tasks including furnishing necessary personnel, material, equipment, services, and facilities to perform the Performance Work Statement (PWS) included in Attachment 2. Work will be ordered against the PWS through the issuance of task orders.

The contractor shall adhere to the procedures set forth in its QA plan dated (TBD after award), which is incorporated by reference. The period of performance of this contract shall be from date of award through three (3) years thereafter inclusive of all required reports. The contract also includes details on key personnel assignment, government contract-level COR responsibilities, and special contract requirements such as commencement of work within 10 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and completion within five (5) years from the date of award.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract shall be from the date of award through three (3) years thereafter inclusive of all required reports.

The place of performance is at R7 Cherokee County Kansas Superfund Site OU3 Phase IV Baxter Springs Subsite/OU8 Phase I EPA-Lead Railroads.
