Nimbus Fish Hatchery Operations and Maintenance

Background
The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking to identify qualified and capable sources for the operation and maintenance of the Nimbus Fish Hatchery located in Gold River, California.

This Sources Sought Notice is intended for market research and planning purposes only, and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Invitation for Bid (IFB), or Request for Proposal (RFP). No contract will be awarded as a result of this notice. Respondents are responsible for all expenses associated with their responses, which may inform future solicitations.

Work Details
The anticipated requirement includes:
- Operation and maintenance of the Nimbus Fish Hatchery to support fish propagation and conservation programs.
- Providing all necessary personnel, labor, materials, supplies, and equipment to ensure effective hatchery operations.
- Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing fish hatchery management.
- Use of existing or purchased equipment restricted to activities directly related to fulfilling the objectives of this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Requests for use outside the scope must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for approval.
- The Contractor must instruct employees in utility conservation practices and operate in a manner that prevents waste.
- The Contractor shall comply with all applicable laws, obtain necessary permits, coordinate approvals from site owners, and ensure appropriate use and maintenance of the Hatchery as a federally owned facility.
