Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail)
This opportunity appears to have a confirmed incumbent based on prior contract 140FS324P0349 awarded to ARF for $243,590 (09/11/24–08/31/26) for “MS-MS SANDHILL CRANE NWR-FIRELINE MASTIC.” The work described for the current RFQ—fuel reduction mastication on the Gautier Unit of the Mississippi Sandhill Crane NWR, including masticating vegetation and stumps and controlling residue size—matches the general mastication/fireline fuel treatment scope and location, suggesting continuity of similar land management activities. A closely related prior award (140FS324P0383) to Prime Site Work & Concrete for $278,169 (09/19/24–08/01/26) further indicates ongoing mastication work at the Sandhill Crane NWR.
