Background
The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Southwest Region (SWR) requires support services in ten task areas to manage Indian trust forest lands within the Southwest Region. The goal is to meet legal and fiduciary requirements for the benefit of Indian owners, ensuring compliance with federal laws, regulations, and policies.

Work Details
The contract involves ten specific tasks:

1) Forest Management Plans,
2) NEPA Documents,
3) Final Forestry Inventory Analysis,
4) Forestry History,
5) Forest Inventory Data Collection,
6) Mapping & Digitizing,
7) Reserved,
8) Data Entry of CFI and Fuels Data,
9) Ecological Monitoring, and
10) Land Classification and GIS Data Layers. Each task includes detailed requirements such as consultation with tribes and BIA for draft documents, data collection according to BIA policy, GIS mapping and digitizing using remote sensing data verified by field visits, ecological monitoring using FFI Lite protocols for hazardous fuels reduction projects, and cultural resource surveys for forestry and fuels projects.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021 plus four one-year options.

Place of Performance
The tasks will be performed on reservations within the Bureau of Indian Affairs Southwest Region located in New Mexico, southwest Colorado, west Texas, eastern Arizona, and southeastern Utah.
