Circle X WELL REPAIR, Santa Monica Mountains NRA
Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the Circle X Well Repair located in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, Los Angeles County, California. The goal of this contract is to provide emergency repairs to the Circle X Well to restore public and private water sources and ensure the delivery of bacteria-free water.

Work Details
The contractor will perform the following tasks:

1. Obtain a County permit.
2. Pull the well casing head, pipe, and pump.
3. Install new 4.5” Flush Thread Casing to reline the well approximately 200’ down for sanitary purposes, as the existing casing is rusted and requires replacement.
4. Reinstall the pump, pipe, and casing head.
5. Gravel pack any voids in the outer casing.
6. Pour concrete to seal the existing pad hole using approximately six (6) 50lb bags.

The contract will be performed from March 21, 2025, to April 4, 2025.
