Description

CACO - REPLACEMENT NAUSET LIGHT BEACH WELL AND PUMP
At Nauset Light Beach bathhouse, repair and replace an operating water well for potable purposes. Well water to be used for commercial use. Provide placing, drilling, all fittings, switchover from existing water line and testing. Drill to an estimated 95 feet.
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment required to complete this work. All ancillary work, cutting and /or removal of existing work necessary for the installation of new work shall be done as required as part of this contract.
Background
The National Park Service (NPS), Contract Operations East, Boston Major Acquisition Buying Office, is issuing this Request for Quote (RFQ) for a construction requirement at Cape Cod National Seashore, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.

The goal of the contract is to repair and replace an operating water well for potable purposes at Nauset Light Beach, ensuring that well water can be used for commercial purposes. This project is set aside for Total Small Business participation, with an estimated magnitude of the complete requirement being under $25,000.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the work. This includes:
- Repairing and replacing the existing water well at Nauset Light Beach bathhouse.
- Drilling a new well to an estimated depth of 95 feet.
- Providing all fittings and performing a switchover from the existing water line to the new installation.
- Conducting testing to ensure the well meets potable water standards.
- Performing any ancillary work required for the installation of new work, including cutting and/or removal of existing work as necessary.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is from March 7, 2025, to May 1, 2025.
