Description

BOSH LOP AND SCATTER FY25
Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is issuing this solicitation for the Bruneau-Owyhee Sage-Grouse Habitat (BOSH) Project 2025. The project aims to acquire vegetation management services to reduce juniper encroachment within sagebrush-steppe habitat, which is critical for the preservation of the greater sage-grouse and other wildlife.

This initiative is part of a broader environmental impact statement that authorizes treatments across approximately 617,000 acres over a 10-15 year timeframe.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for vegetation management tasks including:
1. Cutting and lopping of western juniper trees across a total of 42,790 acres, with specific tasks including:
- Cut and Lop: 42,551 Acres
- Hand Piling: 239 Acres
2. The contractor must provide all necessary tools, labor, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, training, and incidentals required to complete the work as per specifications.
