Background
The Battle Creek Salmon and Steelhead Restoration Project is overseen by the Bureau of Reclamation, aimed at restoring riverine fisheries within a hydroelectric project environment. The goal of this contract is to provide environmental compliance and support services for Phase 2 of the project, which includes significant dam removals and associated environmental assessments.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for administering and updating the Environmental Implementation Plan (EIP) specific to Phase 2 removal work. Key tasks include:

1. **Preconstruction Surveys**: Conducting surveys for various special-status species and preparing reports.

2. **Worker Environmental Education Program**: Implementing training programs for construction personnel on environmental laws and species protection.

3. **Environmental Compliance Monitoring**: Ensuring adherence to environmental regulations during construction activities.

4. **Reporting and Administration**: Preparing annual reports and managing documentation related to environmental compliance activities.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be performed over a five-year period from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2030.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily take place within the Battle Creek watershed area.
