F-35 "Lightning II" Training Systems and Simulation

Background
The F-35 'Lightning II' Program Office is issuing an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract aimed at providing a comprehensive range of services related to the F-35 Air System.

The mission of this contract is to ensure that training systems and simulation products are developed and implemented concurrently with the aircraft, thereby enhancing the training experience for pilots, aircrew, and maintainers. Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for a full range of tasks including: analysis, modeling and simulation, design, development, production, modification, test and evaluation, laboratory infrastructure support, sustainment, delivery, refurbishment, relocation, and product support of training systems and simulation products.

These training systems will facilitate training events and qualification exercises that closely mimic actual aircraft operations. The complexity of the F-35 air system necessitates that these efforts be completed efficiently and in a timely manner. Additionally, all capabilities must be integrated into the Training Infrastructure System (TIS) Operational Environment for use in training center classrooms.
