To become a qualified source for NSN 6140-01-055-0435 (P/N 16VE013003-1) for the F-16 battery storage application: notify the appropriate government contracting office of intent to qualify; certify access to required facilities/equipment/tooling/personnel to manufacture/inspect/test/package/store the item and make them available for government evaluation/inspection; verify possession of a complete data package including a complete list of all procedures/drawings/specifications and change notices at minimum including LOCKHEED MARTIN CORPORATION drawing 16VE013003; manufacture to conform to ESA-approved engineering/technical data package requirements; demonstrate compliance with DFARS 211.274 Unique Identification (UID) requirements as prescribed in the ESA-approved data package; provide at own expense data showing results of quality/performance/environmental evaluations conducted to show compliance with requirements identified by Drawing 16VE013003; identify sources for materials and standards for internally used processes; after completion of approved qualification testing submit required documentation/data as specified in the qualification process.
