Offeror must notify the appropriate government contracting office of intent to qualify as a source for this actuator.
Offeror must certify it has (or has access to) required facilities and equipment to manufacture, inspect, test, package, and store the item, and make facilities/equipment/tooling/personnel available for government evaluation/inspection.
Offeror must verify it has a complete data package including a complete list of all procedures/drawings/specifications (including change notices) in its possession at a minimum including Lockheed Martin drawing(s) referenced by the engineering data package (including Lockheed Martin drawing 16VK013002). Offeror may be required to provide copies of applicable procedures/drawings/specifications.
Manufacture/process verification: manufacture to conform to government requirements as prescribed within the ESA-approved engineering/technical data package; comply with DFARS 211.274 Unique Identification (UID) requirements as prescribed within the ESA-approved engineering/technical data package.
Quality assurance/data evidence: provide data showing results of quality/performance/environmental evaluations conducted by the offeror to show compliance with assurance requirements identified by drawing 16VK013002; identify sources for materials and standards for internally used processes for critical safety items/critical characteristics/critical safety processes.
Qualification time limitation: once requirements are met, offeror will be listed as an approved source for this item; approval does not guarantee subsequent contract award.
Source qualification waiver options may be available under specified QWC criteria (e.g., prior supply/OEM certification such as DD Form 250/material inspection reports; qualified assembly sources may qualify subassemblies/components; earlier dash number qualification may extend to other dash numbers if no increase in complexity/criticality).
Packaging/marking compliance required per SOW preservation/packaging & marking requirements using AFMC Form 158 and referenced standards (MIL-STD-2073-1, MIL-STD-129, ASTM D3951) and marking per MIL-STD-130 in lieu of FPS-3008.
