Bidder Requirements
Provide the specified valve identified by manufacturer name/CAGE and part number (C01). If manufacturing phase-out/discontinuation occurs, notify immediately upon determining unavailability of obsolete materials/components and recommend a solution including impact on price and delivery (C02). Packaging and marking must follow AFMC Form 158 packing requirements plus MIL-STD-2073-1 (including special packaging instructions when in special group category per CDRL), MIL-STD-129 minimum uniform military marking/labels, and applicable preservation/packaging procedures including ASTM D3951 where prescribed. Ensure hazardous shipments are prepared/label/certified to meet DOT specification or UN specification under applicable 49 CFR parts, with competent authority compliance documentation and contractor test report/certification made available prior to acceptance/shipment as required by CDRL. Provide SDS to cognizant packaging management office with prescribed packaging data deliverables. SPIRES may be used to retrieve/exchange Special Packaging Instruction drawings for packaging requirements.
