F-15 Static Display Restoration - Eglin AFB

Background
The solicitation is for a F-15 Static Display Restoration at Eglin AFB, Florida. The contractor is required to provide all services, material, labor, and equipment to complete a full sanding and full paint application to the F-15 static display at the corner of Nomad Way and Eglin Boulevard, Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), Florida. The contractor must comply with all Federal, State, Air force Instructions (AFIs), County, Local, and Eglin AFB regulations in performance of this contract.

Work Details
The contractor shall remove all areas of corrosion, remove or fill dents from aircraft and external fuel tanks, prime all bare areas, seal airframe, and seal canopies to prevent water seepage. Additionally, the contractor must restore/maintain the aircraft’s original shape and cosmetic appearance to 'Museum Quality' standards.
The work includes specific repair and paint functions, specific maintenance functions covered under a 1-year warranty, place of performance, hours of operation, supervision, safety requirements, environmental and weather considerations, quality of service standards, and inspection and acceptance procedures.

Place of Performance
All static display renovation and maintenance will be accomplished at the site of the F-15 Static Display at Eglin AFB in Florida.
