Extended Range Attack Munition

Background
The Department of the Air Force, specifically the Air Force Material Command, has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for the Extended Range Attack Munition. This RFI is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute an invitation for bid (IFB) or request for proposal (RFP). The RFI is not a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose and will not affect any potential offeror’s ability to submit an offer if a solicitation is released. The RFI encourages all responsible businesses, including small businesses, to respond.

Work Details
Interested and capable sources are encouraged to respond to this RFI with a Statement of Capabilities that provides specific relevant knowledge and experience in areas such as 500# class weapon desired, blast / frag / and limited penetration effects, variable fuze options, range ≥ 250NM, speed ≥ .6 mach, nav system capable of operating in a GPS degraded environment, terminal accuracy: CEP 50 w/in 10m both in non-EMI and high EMI environments, and production capacity of >1,000 AURs NLT 24 months from contractor award. Small businesses are encouraged to submit a Statement of Capabilities demonstrating their ability to manufacture a portion of the requirement.

The contract will be performed at AFLCMC/EBDK – Eglin Air Force Base located at 102 W D Ave Bldg 11, Eglin AFB, Florida 32542.
