Background
The solicitation is issued by the U.S. Department of State for the Expo 2025 Food and Beverage Services. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive food and beverage services during the Expo, ensuring high-quality offerings that meet the expectations of attendees and comply with relevant standards.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for a variety of tasks under the Food and Beverage Services, including:
1. Development of public menus (Tasks 3.1.1 - 3.1.2).
2. Training and licensing for staff (Tasks 3.1.3 - 3.1.4).
3. Catering menu development and tastings (Tasks 3.1.5 - 3.1.11).
4. Provision of necessary kitchen appliances and equipment (Task 3.1.12).
5. Management of waste, including cooking oil and food waste (Tasks 3.2.1 - 3.2.2).
6. Insurance coverage for operations (Task 3.3.1).
7. Provision of meals for staff (Task 3.4.1).
8. Coordination of culinary diplomacy events (Tasks 3.6.1 - 3.6.5).
9. Closeout services after the event (Task 3.7.1). Additionally, the contractor must ensure compliance with Japanese codes and standards for food safety and quality.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon signature by the government and will remain effective until November 1, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Expo site in Japan.
