Background
The contract is issued by the U.S. Department of Commerce for the American Embassy in Athens, Greece. The goal of the contract is to provide reliable internet services to support operations at the Chancery building, ensuring high-speed connectivity and network availability for embassy personnel.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a dedicated, permanently open internet connection with high-speed bandwidth of 100Mbps, including 6 public static IP addresses. Key specifications include:

- Service support for computer network (LAN) with 100% network availability.
- Minimum bandwidth of 100MB download and upload for 10 to 12 users.
- Fiber optic infrastructure must be dual access or fully redundant.
- Fiber optic bandwidth capability should be at least 2x1Gbps.
- Timely customer notification of faults and consistent performance monitoring.
- Provide and support a router connected to the existing firewall.
- Internet connection must be unfiltered and not firewalled with unlimited monthly bandwidth download.
- ISP must provide, configure, and support an unfiltered ISP router/modem without DHCP configured for the wired network.
- ISP circuits should not be DSL or ADSL but must be cable, Ethernet, or fiber.
- The contractor must ensure all necessary permissions for construction are obtained.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a one-year period from the date of award, with four optional one-year extensions available.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate capability to provide necessary personnel, equipment, and financial resources. Key personnel assigned to the contract must be fluent in English. The contractor is required to submit a strategic plan detailing work elements, equipment needed, quality assurance measures, and compliance with local licensing requirements.
