Etching Services for Medical Instruments for Nashville TN VA Medical Center

Background
The Nashville VA Healthcare System, part of the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS), is seeking to procure etching services for surgical instruments requiring laser marking as per directives. The goal of this contract is to ensure proper identification and tracking of surgical instruments through laser etching, which aligns with the agency's mission to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all resources necessary to accomplish the deliverables described in the statement of work (SOW). Key tasks include:
- Laser marking up to 46,000 total surgical instruments, marking a minimum of 300 to 500 instruments per day with unique device identifiers.
- Auditing, editing, and revising count sheets to eliminate tray picking errors.
- Data entry into the existing Censitrac system with consistent instrument naming and accurate nomenclature.
- Reviewing instruments already marked for accuracy and fixing any unreadable markings.
- Identifying missing instruments, finding replacements, scanning them, and entering them into the Censitrac system.
Deliverables include a detailed work plan ensuring all instruments are readable after commissioning into Censitrac, verification of count sheets with updates, and customized laser 2D barcode etching services.

Period of Performance
