Background
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is issuing a Limited-Sources Justification (LSJ) for the procurement of ESRI ArcGIS Software Maintenance Renewal at the Langley Research Center (LaRC). This acquisition is essential to sustain the core geospatial architecture that supports enterprise geographic information system (GIS) operations across all NASA centers. The procurement is being conducted under the Multiple-Award Schedule (MAS) Program, with Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. anticipated to be awarded the contract under GSA Federal Supply Schedule GS-35F-253CA.

Work Details
The contract involves the renewal of software maintenance for ESRI ArcGIS, which is critical for maintaining NASA's geospatial systems. The services required include:

1. Continued software maintenance for ESRI ArcGIS to ensure uninterrupted service and support for GIS operations across NASA centers.

2. Maintenance services that are unique and highly specialized, as ESRI is the sole provider of ArcGIS and associated maintenance services.

3. Support for mission-critical operations including visualization and analysis of real property data, management of NEPA, CRM, ECR, and ERT data, and record keeping for utilities and asset locations.

4. Integration with existing IT environments including enterprise GIS databases and custom applications.
