Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command New Jersey, on behalf of U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center (DEVCOM AC), Quality Engineering and System Assurance Division (QESA) Laboratory Division, at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, is conducting market research to identify businesses capable of providing emergency and preventative service maintenance to support the operation of test and measurement equipment in several operational areas: Environmental Test Laboratory, Radiography Laboratory, Energetics Verification Laboratory, Tactical Behavioral Research Laboratory and Evaluation Methodologies Laboratory. These preventative and emergency repair services will ensure operation and performance of testing equipment and supporting devices.

The following is a list of laboratory equipment (SEE ATTACHMENT) that shall require preventative maintenance and emergency repair services. Service and repair requirements shall include all systems, subsystem components, and assemblies. The contractor shall be responsible for total maintenance of the entire system. Based on the prior serice and maintenance contract, attached is Quality Assurance Plan (QASP) for reference.

BACKGROUND:

The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811219 - Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a Small Business Size Standard of $34.0M. The Product Service Code is J066 (Maintenance and Repair of Instruments and Laboratory Equipment). Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to respond; however, each respondent must clearly identify their business size in their capabilities statement.

SUBMISSION DETAILS: Each potential source is requested to provide the contract number(s), dollar value(s), and brief description of work previously or currently being performed, which specifically demonstrates the contractor's ability to successfully satisfy the requirements of the Technical Services. Firms shall also provide the following Administrative Information, where available, for the efforts cited above:
