NASA has awarded the Earth System Explorers Program (ESEP) Ocean Dynamics and Surface Exchange with the Atmosphere (ODYSEA) mission Phase A Concept Study to the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), of San Diego, California. The contract action was awarded competitively as a result of Announcement of Opportunity (AO) NNH23ZDA016O. This is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract that includes a 13-month base period with one 5-month option. The period of performance began September 25, 2024. The work will be performed at the contractor's facility in San Diego, California. Under this new contract, UCSD will provide the necessary personnel, materials, equipment, and facilities to produce the Phase A Concept Study Report (CSR) that further develops all Phase B-F activities per the Criteria and Requirements in the Statement of Work (SOW).
