Amendment 01: The purpose of this RFP Amendment is to answer questions received. Answers to questions received in response to this RFP are hereby attached in document "RFP Amendment No. 1". The proposal due date of June 20, 2025 at 5:00PM (MT) remains unchanged.

The objective of this work effort is to design, manufacture, and deliver an equipment enclosure for the Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) Megawatt-Scale Low Temperature Electrolyzer Research Capability project at NREL. This enclosure will house and climate control the electrolyzer stacks and balance of plant (BOP) that supports those electrolyzer stacks. This enclosure will be made of multiple parts that make a total enclosure space of 24 X 50 feet with 12 feet tall ceilings.

Background
The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is a national laboratory owned by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). NREL is the only federal laboratory dedicated to research, development, commercialization, and deployment of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies. NREL is managed and operated for DOE’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy by The Alliance for Sustainable Energy (Alliance), the M&O Contractor.

The objective of this work effort is to design, manufacture, and deliver an equipment enclosure for the Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) Megawatt-Scale Low Temperature Electrolyzer Research Capability project at NREL.

Work Details
The equipment enclosure will house and climate control the electrolyzer stacks and balance of plant (BOP) that supports those electrolyzer stacks. The enclosure will consist of multiple parts creating a total space of 24 feet by 50 feet with 12-foot tall ceilings. The subcontractor shall provide structural design engineering drawings and furnish and deliver the required equipment enclosures as specified in the Technical Specifications - Addendum 1 attached to this Statement of Work.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is execution of the subcontract through twelve (12) months.
