Description

SPECIAL NOTICE: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District (USACE) will be soliciting proposals for the construction of the Equipment Concentration Site (ECS) Warehouse at the Yakima Training Center in Yakima, Washington. As part of the construction contract solicitation, the USACE intends to include the following sole source requirements:

Door Locks: The contract solicitation will include a sole-source brand requirement for Best Coremax keying systems (keys and cores) to be installed for all doors that are included in this project. Superior Hardware Products and/or Southern Lock (GSA supplier) are the only two authorized vendors for this keying system. Best Coremax equipment will ensure consistent technology and meet the Army Reserve criteria.

Fire Alarm Panel/Transceiver: The contract solicitation will include a sole-source brand requirement for Monaco BT-X Transceiver. The installed Fire Alarm Panel/transceiver(s) and antenna(s) are to be Monaco Assy BT-X Multiapp 4X Composite 24 CWE. Monaco equipment will ensure consistent technology and meet the Army Reserve criteria.

Utility: Cascade Natural Gas (gas utility) is the only provider of services for the installation area.
