The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Readiness and Response (ORR), and National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD) are pleased to announce the CDC Industry Day hosted by CDC's Office of Acquisition Services (OAS) on Thursday, June 20, 2024. The event will include technical briefs and question and answer (Q&A) sessions for three separate projects provided by CDC program representatives from ORR and NCIRD.

It is anticipated that the topics may be the basis of upcoming Requests for Proposals (RFP) or Requests for Quotes (RFQ) submitted to industry members via both the Federal Supply Schedule and SAM.gov. This is not an RFP and is intended for planning purposes only. Projects will NOT be awarded from this announcement.

The Government will be presenting one Pre-Solicitation Collaboration (PSC), which will include a short brief and a Q&A session for each of the three upcoming projects.

Background

Work Details
The CDC Industry Day will present one Pre-Solicitation Collaboration (PSC), which will include a short brief and a Q&A session for each of the three upcoming projects.
The projects include:
1) Resources for the Improvement of Surveillance and Emergency Response Program (RISER) - involving the production of high-quality stocks of reference pathogens, positive controls, detection kits, proficiency panels, and other similar type surveillance and research reagents;
2) NCIRD Epidemiologic and other Scientific Research Requirements for Respiratory and Non-Respiratory Pathogens and Pharmaceutical and Non-Pharmaceutical Interventions (ESRRPP) IDIQ - to support epidemiologic and other scientific research to advance the requirements for respiratory and non-respiratory pathogens and pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical interventions;
3) Preparedness and Response Operational Services (PROS) Blanket Purchase Agreement - aiming to modernize data systems, enhance laboratory readiness, support public health response capability, conduct continuous assessment of public health risks, and prepare CDC and the Nation to address identified and emerging threats.

The Industry Day will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 7:30am to 9:00am EST (Check in) to 9:00am to 4:00pm EST at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Roybal Campus in Atlanta, GA.
