Purchase Agency: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
Reason for Purchase: The EPA requires on-site technical assistance and sanitary surveys to ensure public water systems in Wyoming are providing safe water to the public and to comply with regulatory requirements.
Work to be Acquired: The contractor will perform tasks such as assisting with drinking water facility operations, conducting downhole video inspections of wells, collecting water samples for analysis, evaluating water systems for regulatory status, providing emergency assistance during water system emergencies, and conducting assessments for the Revised Total Coliform Rule.
Timeframe of Acquisition: The contractor will receive written assignments from the EPA Region 8 Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or Alternate COR. Emergency services may be requested verbally by a Contracting Officer. The contractor must complete tasks within specified timeframes, such as submitting reports within 10 working days after site visits and completing assessments within designated timeframes.
Place of Performance/Delivery: The work will be performed on-site at public water systems in Wyoming. Reports and deliverables will be submitted electronically to the EPA Region 8 office.
Notable Information: The contractor must have an EPA-approved quality system and comply with health and safety regulations. They must also provide photo documentation of potential deficiencies and locations of water system facilities. Sanitary surveys must be conducted every three years for community water systems and every five years for non-community water systems.
