EPA - Operation, Maintenance and Repair Services - MRAS

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in collaboration with the General Services Administration (GSA), is conducting market research to identify qualified contractors for a range of facility services at the Robert S. Kerr Environmental Research Center in Ada, Oklahoma. This initiative aims to ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of the facility, which supports critical research conducted by the Groundwater Sciences Laboratory Branch (GSLB) under the Office of Applied and Environmental Solutions (OASES). The overarching goal is to maintain an optimal environment for scientific research by providing comprehensive facilities management and support services.

The scope of work encompasses a variety of essential services that are crucial for the day-to-day functioning of the research center. The contractor will be responsible for on-site facility operation, maintenance, and repair services, ensuring that all systems and equipment excluding analytical instruments are operating efficiently. Additionally, custodial and janitorial services will be required to maintain cleanliness standards throughout the facility. Landscaping and grounds maintenance are also part of this contract to ensure that outdoor spaces are well-kept and presentable.

Moreover, security guard services form a critical component of this contract to safeguard both personnel and property at the research center. Contractors will need to provide all necessary labor, parts, supplies, materials, supervision, equipment, and training required to fulfill these responsibilities effectively. Specific requirements include safety training in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards as well as other relevant operational protocols.
