Background
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) is issuing this solicitation for the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge South Loop Autotour Rehabilitation project. The mission of the FWS is to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.

The goal of this contract is to rehabilitate the South Loop Autotour at Sherburne NWR, enhancing access and experience for visitors while ensuring environmental sustainability.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required for the repair of four (4) wells at Monte Vista NWR located in Monte Vista, CO in Rio Grande County. Specific tasks include:
1. Repairing Prairie's Edge Wildlife Drive - South Loop;
2. Renovating the Parking Lot (Rte. 924).

The work must comply with all specifications outlined in the statement of work and contract drawings.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from August 20, 2026, to October 19, 2026.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge located at 17076 293rd Avenue, Zimmerman, MN 55398.

Bidder Requirements
This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns. Bidders must provide performance and payment bonds within 10 calendar days after award. Contractors must have appropriate licenses and bonding as required by local regulations.
