Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is seeking environmental services including sampling, assessment, and analytical services for projects within the boundaries of the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division. The primary objective is to facilitate environmental services, which may include archeological and geotechnical service needs of the USACE Detroit District.

Work Details
The scope of services includes general environmental sampling, assessment, and analytical services support for the characterization of various environmental sample types. This involves collecting samples at field sites, analyzing samples to determine pollutant concentrations, conducting predictive tests, and providing other environmental services work such as Environmental Site Assessments, Pilot Studies, Remedial Investigations, invasive species treatments, wetland delineations, and Archeological or biological surveys. The contract also requires providing geotechnical investigations, GIS application work, and vessel maintenance facility operations.

Period of Performance
The contract performance will be for five years with a base year period not to exceed 12 months and four performance year periods each not to exceed 12 months.

Place of Performance
Projects will primarily take place within the boundaries of the USACE Detroit District covering Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and portions of Indiana. Occasionally work may include project sites within other Districts in the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division.
