Environment for Visualizing Images (ENVI) Software Licenses

This requirement is to establish a contract for Environment for Visualizing Images (ENVI) software licenses for (8) members of the National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) Ocean Prediction Center (OPC). ENVI is a software application used to process and analyze geospatial imagery. ENVI software provides users with the ability to gain a better understanding of the National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) data and share that understanding with subject matter experts. The image analysis that ENVI software provides to NCEP users supports the National Weather Service's (NWS) mission of protecting life and property. ENVI is used to process and analyze geospatial imagery, which supports the National Center and Regional Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) operational systems outside Advanced Weather Interactive Processing System (AWIPS) and the Weather and Climate Operational Supercomputing System (WCOSS) in accordance with the NWS ARM.
