(16) Description: The USCB issued a limited sources logical follow-on pursuant to FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(C) under General Services Administration (GSA) contract GS-35F-0480T with Prime Source Technologies, LLC for Client Support Division (CSD) IT Service Desk Support.

The contractor will support the CSD Systems, Projects, and Client Engineering (SPaCE) Branch, which identifies, develops, and maintains remote desktop management systems and technologies. The branch creates and maintains standard images for desktop personal computers (PCs) and laptops/tablets. They are responsible for automating the delivery of applications to desktops and laptops. The team develops, maintains, and supports application test labs for customer use and application compliance testing. The team develops, maintains, and supports hardware and software inventory systems used for various reports concerning Census workstations. This team also provides desktop management policies and procedures to control workstation functionality. They utilize patch management and workstation configuration technologies to ensure that the desktop environment meets required security controls. The SPaCE Branch develops and supports a number of non-standard workstations for special purposes, such as. The team supports virtual desktops and virtual applications. The SPaCE Branch also provides Tier III technical support to the helpdesk as needed.
