Description

the Department is seeking to identify capable and interested partners able to provide the products and/or services required to meet the full range of functional capabilities outlined in this RFI. Viable partners should have demonstrated experience deploying the solutions and delivering the ongoing support required to maintain, expand, and upgrade the solution over time for an organization of similar size, global scope, and mission complexity as the Department.

Please see the attahced RFI for details and reponse instructions. Vendors should comply with the response instructions. Submission of a capability statement without a written response that complies with the instructions will be be condisered for the analysis.

Background
The U.S. Department of State, through the Bureau of Diplomatic Technology (DT), is seeking to advance its mission by identifying capable partners to provide an integrated suite of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software solutions.

The goal is to support numerous Department missions and business processes with enterprise-grade desktop and application virtualization solutions that comply with federal security requirements and enhance operational capabilities.

Work Details
The Department requires a comprehensive solution that includes:
- Enterprise Desktop Virtualization: A commercially proven solution that supports mission-critical applications across various environments, ensuring stability, reliability, flexibility, and high performance.
- Application Virtualization: The ability to manage and isolate application launches to optimize system resources.
- Secure Remote Access: Solutions must allow users to access their work desktops from various devices using multi-factor authentication methods.

Mandatory Requirements include:
1. FIPS 140-2/140-3 certification.
2. Compliance with CISA patching mandates and Presidential Executive Order 14028 for cybersecurity.
3. Support for DoD Impact Level 6 certification for classified information.
4. Compliance with FISMA security standards and FedRAMP certification at High Impact Level.
5. Adherence to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act for accessibility.
6. Capability for on-premises and hybrid architecture, including multi-cloud support.
7. Robust reporting tools for real-time data visualization and trend analysis.
8. Edge computing capabilities for remote application performance.
9. Quality of Service (QoS) prioritization for voice and video transmissions.
10. USB redirection and peripheral support for virtual desktops.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed globally across the Department's over 300 sites and 275 missions.
