Description

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) seeks a qualified contractor to provide maintenance, repair, replacement, modernization, and lifecycle management services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This is a small business set aside with the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code anticipated for this requirement is: 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance

The Government intends to award a single Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.

The Government intends to evaluate quotations and make award without conducting discussions.

Therefore,Quoters are encouraged to submit their best technical and pricing terms in their initial quotation.

The Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if determined necessary by the Contracting Officer.

Background
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide maintenance, repair, replacement, modernization, and lifecycle management services for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.
This contract focuses on commercial and industrial machinery and equipment repair and maintenance. The goal of the contract is to ensure the operational readiness of Government-owned UPS systems in support of FBI mission requirements.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for:
1. Planned Preventive Maintenance (PM) Services: Conducting scheduled inspections, diagnostics, calibration, testing, cleaning, lubrication, battery maintenance, firmware updates, operational verification, lifecycle assessments, and planned replacement of components such as batteries and capacitors.
2. Unplanned Corrective Maintenance: Providing emergency response to UPS alarms and failures with a 24/7 capability to restore systems to operational status. This includes troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair services, and documentation of corrective actions performed.
3. UPS Replacement and Modernization Services: Removing old UPS systems and installing new ones according to OEM specifications while ensuring compliance with FBI operational requirements. This includes site surveys, engineering assessments, startup commissioning, system integration testing, and providing necessary documentation post-installation.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period of performance lasting 12 months with four additional option periods each lasting 12 months for a total potential ordering period of five years.
